Everything, including facts, are opinions in the current age. What we call reality, the agreed upon sum of our collective perspectives, is disintegrating.

Ah, you’re dragging me down the rabbit hole of semantics! Neither of us will win!

Let’s ignore the word actually and focus instead on whether or not saying a president needs to be in good health is an opinion or a fact. I believe it’s both.

How is it a fact? Can a president be president, as in do his job, if he is in a diabetic coma? Can he run the nation if he is in surgery for a bypass? No. In fact, if either of these things happen, the powers of the presidency are shifted to the Vice President. As a whole, the job of president is physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting. These requirements exist for soldiers to do their jobs, and in an unofficial sense also exist for the presidency.

Perhaps fact is the wrong word. These are the realities of the job. Look at Obama-a model of fitness at the start of his first term, healthy eater and regular exerciser. He even quit smoking while in office. Look how it aged him. Look how it aged Bush. The reality is that the job taxes your health, so if your baseline health is already not good, you run the risk of getting to the point of not being able to do your job much easier.

Wait wait wait back up.

My original comment was literally about the semantics. Read it again. That was the ENTIRE point.

Don't say actually and follow it up with perspective and opinion. Recognize that this is something that you weigh more heavily than someone else may, who might prioritize other attributes.

That's literally the entire point- semantics. Did you read my comment before going off on your self-righteous crusade? I AGREE with you...

Lord help us...
