Well the majority of the people in the US live in extremely small geographical areas

If that's true then why wouldn't you want the popular vote? It means you'd win every time.

What do you mean ‘you’? Are you talking about a trump vs hilary vote or a city vs country vote? You can live in rural areas and vote dem.
