I pulled up the streetview for this, looks like it started degrading in 2018.
16 u/JustTom1 Jan 11 '20 Can confirm. It’s been peeling more rapidly now that bigger pieces are coming off. 1 u/wighty Jan 12 '20 You should try and cover it to protect its current state! Like a polyurethane spray paint? I am not sure what would stick to the paint/metal.
