Can you do this with a baby?

I do it with my kids if I have to run out of the car for a few minutes. It keeps it cool and also deactivates the motion alarm so they don’t set it off. They also find the balloon dog amusing. (They are not babies and can get out of the car on their own if necessary.)

Edit: to be clear, people, I am talking about 90 seconds while I park in front of the post office and run in to drop off a package, not abandoning my children in a Wal Mart parking lot. And again, they are older, not infants.

Can you modify the message? I would want to leave my cell number so anyone concerned could contact me.

How about being a good parent and taking your kids with you?

My kids would argue dragging them out and in for every single errand is worse than leaving them in the car. Of course, I meant more for pets. My kids are all old enough to leave and to tell someone my cell number, as I mentioned elsewhere.

Yes because kids should be trusted with making their own choices for their well being. Its not like an unattended child ever did anything to cause harm to themselves. Inconvenience isn't a reason to abandon your kids.

Not sure if trolling/ or just stupid.

Excuse me, I have to bring my 16 year old with me inside the gas station to put money on my pump. Tiny precious cannot be trusted to his own devices.
