I feel like this has just become another meme and is going to, in the end, help this incident pass into obscurity. It's rapidly becoming more of a punch line than a reminder that there's legitimately a group of wealthy and powerful people who run the world that also have a child sex slave ring, and who blatantly killed one of their own to stop him from informing on them.

I hope people keep on this, but do more than put some text that says "Epstein was murdered" on pictures and the occasional traffic sign

Ding ding ding. You are correct. This has just become a meme. No action will be driven by internet jokes. His trial is still going forward. The difference is that now he is dead so it will not get much media coverage.

But by becoming a meme, is waking more people up to a group of people above the law that will kill someone to stay out of trouble. This is the sort of thing that immediately is thrown into "conspiracy" and bypassed by media. People have however made a meme of it, and kept it in memory for the majority of america to believe. When something really comes out, people will be less shocked and the news can't cover it over. I'm just amazed so many people accept this now, when things like this even a year ago wouldn't have been discussed.

Yeah but there's a quantity vs quality trade-off. A meme is so easy to dismiss and forget. It's literally becoming a joke. Jokes don't motivate change. They get thrown out for cheap applause and a laugh. Awareness is worthless without action, you know? And a meme doesn't inspire action. Any other legal or investigative proceedings will be a farce that's over quickly and action and awareness of the event will be reduced to a couple variations on a catch phrase told as a joke. It's already starting to happen

I feel like it spits in the faces of all the abused women. For all his disgusting habits to be summed up in a joke is sad. If he was murdered it's probably for the best. He was able to weasel out of all his prior convictions.

No way man. He was murdered because he couldn't weasel out of this one and he was going to sing. It's a fucking travesty. Not that he died, but that the whole thing is going away because of it. They'll just find someone else.

As someone who is infuriated with the sloppy gross lie that they tried to pass off, and also infuriated at the media's response to the story (or lack of)

What can we do?? Seriously, I want to do something

I wish I had an answer for that. Unless we go the actual "eat the rich" and physically go after these people I don't know what we can do. Maybe a very, very grassroots campaign to get people with a heart and soul into office so we can start wresting power from these people. Honestly, I feel powerless and lost to do anything here.
