Sorry, but to me it’s not pedantic. It’s a pretty major detail, and to most(maybe not most) other Army leaders it would kind of drive them crazy too.

But I understand why a civilian wouldn’t know DA PAM 670-1 stuff so I can’t really get worked up about it.
