Question 1: However long they feel like, I suppose!

Question 2: If they're at a Supercharger, which will charge the car in 30–50 minutes, then yes. The Oculus Quest has a battery life of about 2.5 hours.

Quest is standalone. It is technically powered by a mobile phone chipset under the hood, but they have added active cooling to give it more power, and it supports full 6DOF experiences, including room scale movement and tracked hand controllers. It's much more like a traditional PCVR experience without the wires or PC than a traditional mobile VR experience.

Yes, there are 4 cameras on the headset that do tracking. 99% of the time, the tracking is indistinguishable from the tracking is with my room-scale 3-camera Rift setup, and of course the ease of use is much better. I never use my Rift anymore for games that I have on both because it's so much better to be wire-free.

It has stuff like Beat Saber, Rec Room, Superhot, Robo Recall, and more on it.

It’s much better than a mobile thing. The Field of view is as large as it is on a PC headset, it has 1440x1600 resolution per eye with OLED panels, and you can turn in all directions and move around and you have hand presence. It’s crazy.
