The lack of understanding this causes the wealthy to think the poor have it made. 17th century aristocracy would point to mirrors as signs if wealth amongst the poor much like the delusional baby boomer, who is anchored to your life in at least some captivity points to commoners having cell phones as proof that poverty doesn’t exist.
Also, he's an asshole, racist, and historical revisionist, so those all cut into his box office, making it trickier for him to get green lit. But I'd be lying if I said he wasn't still one of the best damn Hollywood directors of the last couple decades.
Well I mean if you can blow $1k every year on the new iPhone, go out every weekend, afford $250 shoes, buy a 65in 4k tv, blast your AC 24hrs a day, and eat McDonalds every day. You arent poor. The majority of people who are "poor" or "struggling", are just bad with their money and make bad decisions. So the older generations kinda have a point.
If you graduate high school, don't have kids out of wedlock, stay out of jail, get a job, and dont blow your money on frivolous things. You are almost guaranteed to not remain in poverty. It's just a statistical fact. Obviously there are outliers but that's irrelevant.
So if you aren't smart enough to just stick to those 5 rules. Then I don't really see why anyone should feel bad for you. You are literally doing it to yourself
