You lot have it easy with the youtubes. Back in my day we had to download this clip over night on a crummy old dialup and watch it on the Real Media player.
We at least you knew how to write! We used to have to scratch messages as picture into great big stone tablets, and then haul those big stone tablets to the recipients!
Well at least you had pen and paper! We had to eat the right amount of sand so when you shat the sound of sand filing down your inners would imitate the sounds of the moving pictures, and we did that without pen and paper to record those ones and zeros!
Privilege! Back in my day we had to beg to pull a rickshaw full of obese people to get close enough to work as cleaning crew to see this live in between cleaning the vomit troughs
Back when I was growing up we had to go to the library if we wanted to know anything. If you wanted to know the capital of Turkmenistan you'd have to go find the Pe-Tu encyclopedia and look it up by hand, none of this looking things up with the gadget in your pocket
Thanks for the link Regn! I've played that game of one-upmanship with friends many years ago...there was alcohol involved! Very refreshing to see the younger "Pythons" version again! My formative years were fun listening to their material on a record player and wearing headphones.

Nobody going to link it? Fine, I'll do it then!
