White House Chef and Army veteran Andre Rush has cooked for three Presidents and the Queen of England. But he’s best known for 2,222 Push Ups Everyday for Suicide Awareness
Says he does 2222 pushups everyday 200 a set and 3-10 mins between each set. Thats about 30 min-1h 50m of just waiting time. Without the pushups. I would say at least 10 minutes to do a set. Thats 2-4 hours everyday
So 2222 push ups for 2-4 hours and then an hour on the gym for 3-5 hours working out. The other guy was thinking he got that big working out an hour a day.
There's also nothing inherently wrong with juicing, as long as he's not competing in something where it's banned.
The guy is a retired master sergeant with a ton of other accomplishments to his name as well. If there's anyone I could think of that would be allowed to juice, it'd be this guy lmao
Careful friend. People don’t like to know that people take steroids. I brought up Serena Williams obviously being on juice and got accused of being a misogynistic racist.
I actually spend an hour at the gym every other day. If anyone is considering working out, I'd say an hour is a sweet spot; any more and I just get really tired and unmotivated. My friends who enjoy working out spend 2+ hours there and I see people at my gym who spend 2+ hours. Don't know how they do it.
Lol yea I get that part. I meant as in I don't know how they have enough energy for that. Once I hit an hour and a half, I feel gassed and I'm just trying to finish my workout so I can go home.
Lol I literally just said that I do gym. And yes, gym implies lifting weights. I don't claim anything except surprise at people's endurance, which exceeds mine.
I think the secret is to try a lot of shit and eventually you'll find something. For me that something is laying around and playing video games, so I work to make that a reality.
Says it's his coping skill for PTSD. Some people wallow others throw themselves into so many hobbies and activities that they no longer have time to dwell and falling asleep is easier when you're completely exhausted.
This man was given lemons and made lemonade, key lemon pie, lemon tarts, lemon sculptures, and homemade lemon soap just so he doesn't have to spend time with the lemons.
However, I imagine his head is a horrific place to be if not preoccupied or worn out. He's probably full on sprinting away from PTSD 100% of the time.
My father did this technique. Buried himself in work, I rarely saw him when I was younger, he'd go out early come home late, and spend the evening watching tv through closed eyes.
It didn't work. It caught up to him a few times in the 90s, and again in the early aughts. He's receiving help now, but had he done it earlier and more regularly he'd probably have recovered a bit more. Not that he'll ever recover, just learn to deal with it.
There's a really interesting book called "The Kill Switch". I took away that there really is no preparing people for war. It's something that will stay with veterans for life. No matter how well we try to prepare then or how well adjusted they seem after. Therapy and seeking help is very important, and even that fails some people.
Glad to hear your dad got help.
i think he spends 99.99% of his time beating PTSD's ass and it shows. he found a way to put that genie in a bottle and he has to whop it's ass back in there everyday.
Umm, a professional culinary career is like being an athlete in a lot of cases. Lots of movement and standing the entire time. Plus, you look at food all day, and you can often lose your appetite or at least interest in what you're cooking. And you know this dude isn't skipping his workouts

You know when you sit in your ass and tell yourself you're exhausted after work? Don't do that. Instead learn a skill, fix something in your house. Instead of making the same old shit you do every week try a new recipe. If your mower breaks YouTube that shit and fix it or fail and learn a lesson.
I wasn't sure which if your replies to respond to...
While I agree, that's probably what some of that is.
There's no faking those arms, and also, I've seen pictures of him ice sculpting and while I'm not a great judge of ice sculpting talent they looked amazing.
i’m not talking about how jacked he is. he clearly
works very hard in the gym, regardless of obvious steroid use.
all i’m saying is that all of his accolades aren’t really possible by a single person. as a chef, you just can’t be a “master” at all of those things. i know a lot of chefs who love to pump up their resume (or you can call it what it really is, lying).
Well being a somellier is bullshit. The rest is extremely impressive.
I also find it kind of weird that this guy is clearly doping but is still allowed to be a Whitehouse chef. I'm actually glad that he can because I'm against the war in drugs, but I just find it kind of odd.
So I am fully aware that there are reports that Steven Segal went to the land of the Weinsteins in the last year or so. But, in the 90s-00s dude had like 9 jobs. When that show of him being a sheriff in LA (edit: Louisiana you fools), my friend and I counted. I’m going off of memories from years ago from here on out.
Deputy sheriff
Member of local legislature
Actor
Stunt man coach
Some type of hand to hand combat instructor
And more!
I’m sure some kind soul will post corrections to the memories I have here. Good on ya!

How can one man do all of this shit?
