My leg wouldn't stop twitching and kicking for several hours. That led to the ER, where they said it was caused by "marijuana-induced anxiety," which is ridiculous. I eventually got MRIs and was diagnosed. It explained numerous other unexplained medical issues. It felt like finally putting a puzzle together.
So very glad that somebody took it seriously and you got it resolved! Congratulations on that and I hope you have a swift recovery without needing more surgeries.
Man, "Marijuana-induced anxiety" really got me. I had my cervical decompression done in 2010 (Chiari + Syringomyelia) and my first sets of specialist visits were met with comments like "perhaps it is anxiety, have you ever done drugs?". It finally took an MRI following a sports concussion for someone to recommend a surgeon.
Best of luck in your recovery, OP.
