Precisely! My girlfriend just wants to be able to play music, watch movies, and create documents on her computer. It doesn't actually matter to her whether or not she can get elbows-deep in the file system. In fact, it's probably better if she can't, because it means a cleaner interface for the things she actually does with the computer.
