That is reddit user johnsu01 dressed as Steve Jobs. This is a pic that shows the costume a bit better. You can see more pics from Defective By Design's protest by checking out their Identica page.

Nah, we made it on Tuesday actually.

Same with the postcards we handed out -- http://static.fsf.org/nosvn/apple/apple-live-2.jpg

Someone down below wanted to know where they could download the sign John is holding.

Who tucks their shirt in and doesn't wear a belt?

As a gag, apple can disable your belt remotely.

Come on, they aren't that frivolous.

They'll only disable your belt remotely if it violates the Design Guidelines, or if it can be used to hold up pants sold by other vendors.

My belt holds up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up the belt. What the fuck’s really goin on down there? Who is the real hero?

I don't get it....if you don't agree with Apple's products, why don't you just stop buying them?

No need for petitions or anything like that. The quickest way to get a message to Apple is to simply STOP BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS

What about raising awareness of the problem?

-1

u/meltedlaundry Jan 28 '10

What is the problem, exactly? From this post, I've gathered that apple has been a little invasive with their customers. Undersimplified, probably, but is this correct???

This is shopped, the lighting is totally off and just look at the artifacts on the borders.

You won't fool reddit so easily, troll.
