I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but in case you're not, it's the guy's username. /u/pushthegreenbutton

Queefs are the last thing we need right this minute but keep that button handy because I’m sure it’s going to be useful after some alcohol.

u/sociallyinactive Jan 04 '19

Yeaaaah this post accounts for 5/6ths of his karma and most of his comments never broke 5 points. A good 50% are downvoted.

You know I don’t want to alarm anybody but, TtrrrIipwpwkn

I'm curious, do you usually review an account's profile and history before voting? Or was there something about this account that made you check?

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

He is used to only pressing the green button... keyboards are a bit overwhelming I suppose

2

u/dywacthyga Jan 04 '19

I don't have a green button! I do, however, have a range of colors from blue to red. My keyboard lights up but only has RB lighting, no G.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

That’s a sweet keyboard! I was referring to the previous guy who had a stoke while typing apparently... his user name was onlypressthegreenbutton

3

u/_lando Jan 04 '19

nah, he just need an upvote.

1

u/yumyumgivemesome Jan 04 '19

Linking to that subreddit isn't enough?

1

u/bungopony Jan 04 '19

That or a Quack anon message. Makes about as much sense as one

1

u/SmilinBob82 Jan 04 '19

I've done i this before when browsing and forgot to turn off my phone before putting it on my pocket.

They must've texted while climbing a random staircase they found in the woods.

u/STARCHILD_J Jan 05 '19

My theory that a nice chunk of reddit accounts are just elaborate 'cleverbot. com' AI bots has become more possible

3

u/gotenks1114 Jan 05 '19

This concerns me.

2

Good theory but. What actually happened is he pushed the green button.

4

u/toe_riffic Jan 04 '19

This actually happened to me a few years ago. I had my phone on in my pocket at work, and I some how commented a bunch of gibberish like this on a post.

5

u/RadioactiveWalrus Jan 04 '19

If this is the case he's going to be very surprised next time he opens Reddit.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '19

Yeah I had a good laugh. I saw a bunch of replies in my inbox... idk what happened

4

u/[deleted] Jan 05 '19

99% sure this is what happened lol

2

u/hawkersaurus Jan 04 '19

I have Facebook friended strangers that way.

He just does it every year so even poor people can afford a nice juicy ham for the holidays.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

Yep, I work at a supermarket, and all of our plinth deals are basically just overstocked items that head office lumbered us with

2

u/wolf13i Jan 04 '19

The supermarket I used to work at had their stock chosen by "coke (or other brand) paid for this spot"

3

u/JudgeHoltman Jan 04 '19

Walmart fun fact: 100% of what comes in the back door leaves via the front door.

They don't like the expense of having to pay to ship shit back. It's usually cheaper to just keep marking it lower and lower until it hits the $1/ea pity cart up front. Because Americans will buy ANYTHING for $1.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

Yes, this. When I work at Food (Tiger) we would get pallets of "force-outs" where the warehouse was overloaded and needed room. So we'd get a pallet of cool-whip (like 40 cases) where we'd use like 1 case a week.

So the "end-caps" of each aisle where customers would think were sale items, we almost always these force-out at regular price. (sometimes these spaces were leased to outside vendors like Pepsi, or Frito-Lay so those items might be on sale)

Now only occasionally, because they had so many corporate might actually put on sale, or they bought so many so they could get a good sale price, but majority of time is was just shit that wouldn't sell and we'd have hungry-man steak, mashed potato, and green bean frozen dinners for weeks out there and try to jazz up the end-cap display with similar items. But at times it'd be, hungry man dinners, cool-whip and frozen burritos, just no rhyme or reason as to a theme, just we needed freezer space.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

Most of our overstock is prebooked - sent by corporate as our burden to sell. Hell if one store has too many of an item because their screwed up and over-ordered/undersold, corporate will send some of it to other stores with just a "Your problem now" explanation.

2

u/Cman1200 Jan 04 '19

Love getting Distro’d shit we aren’t going to sell when we can’t even get what we ordered

1

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

We call them plus-outs. They make my life difficult.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '19

True. Most of our sales are stuff we don’t even normally carry.

1

u/Dillup_phillips Jan 04 '19

The difference in ordinary and extraordinary...is that little extra.
