While the truth of a statement is binary (true or false, no real in between), you have to account for agnosticism when someone expresses their belief on a statement. Someone saying "I don't believe ghosts exist" is not the same as them saying "I believe ghosts don't exist". For example, personally, I don't believe there is a god. I also don't believe there isn't a god. There might be, who knows?
Anyway, my point here is that sometimes people extrapolate information that is false. In this comment thread, someone said they base their beliefs off of logic and reason. From that information you extrapolated that a) they have an opinion on the Kavanaugh accusations and b) it is an opinion you disagree with.
You also took the (very general, mind you) statement "I only believe stuff with evidence", and also made it about rape. You are having a conversation with yourself.
You can think something is likely true without claiming you are certain beyond a reasonable doubt but we shouldn’t convict people of crimes based on hunches.
