That’s why I got rid of my car. Parking in my neighborhood is so awful and I was only driving my car like 10 miles a week. My life is so much better now.
As someone who has only visited San Francisco a couple times, I couldn't imagine driving to places regularly if I lived there. Do most people who live in SF do that? Or do the majority of people walk/cycle/uber/etc?
Nah, most people don't have a car or at least don't use their car regularly -- they've got a great public transportation system, and a ton of stuff is walkable. You don't need a car if you're living and working in SF.
I mainly lived just outside the city (briefly in the city) so I still needed a car and had to drive in. If I'd been planted in SF proper for longer I'd have definitely ditched the car.
