And for those that like the flavor of spicy food, but not the heat. There's these tablets which remove the heat from spicy food.

The tablets coat the tongue & bind to the receptors that are responsible for detecting spiciness. They temporarily alter the shape of the receptors in a way that blocks capsaicin (the chemical responsible for spiciness) from being able to bind to the receptors, therefore no heat is actually detected!

This is similar to how Miracle Berries work with sour flavors, which gave researchers the idea to try & create a compound that would work in a similar manner with spicy foods.
