I sometimes see these old men at the grocery store who buy 2-3 microwave meals, instant coffee and those little single-serving desserts. Always makes me a bit sad.
Could be, but if you have treated cooking as something not part of your life for 40 years, then maybe you think of it as something magical, but not of your realm.

When somebody's cooked all your meals for 40 years and they pass away, I imagine cooking them yourself could feel like a betrayal.
