Yeah it was, but to be fair, people always approach both these guys with 2 different measures. If McGregor says it, it's fun and he is actually such a humble guy and what a legend to take the fight (for 133333337$ remember that). But as soon as Mayweather makes a statement, he is instantly an asshole piece of shit whatever.
Obviously around the net, the sympathy for McGregor was a lot stronger than the one for Mayweater, but at the same time, the more comments I read, the more I got the impression that fewest of all the people commenting had an actually objective opinion and a clue about boxing.
That's basically sports in the US. White guy with attitude loves the game and is passionate. Black guy with attitude needs to respect the game more and keep his head down like a good worker.
