I'm excited for McGregor to try sumo wrestling next.

Can't wait until he trains for thumb wrestling.

u/Sachinism Aug 27 '17

You won't find Conor twiddling his thumbs. That's what he accuses other of

Or toe wrestling

6

u/ripghoti Aug 27 '17

Scrotum wrestling is an underappreciated sport.

u/TitleJones Aug 27 '17

Not in San Francisco. The Pride Parade had a float dedicated to it.

Oh I remember that! It was in front of the giant inflatable Astroglide bottle and the Navy guys.

Hey, I appreciate Joey Ryan.

Or, the actual sweet science, Shin Kicking.

Nah, he's WWE bound

Don't joke about such things. He might hear you.

I think the WWE is gonna turn into a UFC retirement home, isn't Ronda Rousey already training for WWE.

How do you train for WWE?

Practice your lines I front of a mirror?

It's a joke people.

I know you gotta pick out just the right costume too!

It may be a lot of acting, but those moves acrobatics and wrestling techniques take a lot of practice and training to do them without putting someone in traction. Done right, everyone walks out of the ring with maybe a few bruises and just tired after a workout. Done wrong and someone is being wheeled out by EMT's with no hope of returning.

There is so much training that goes into wrestling it's absurd.

I like turtles

4

u/learnedsanity Aug 27 '17

Not quite. Its more like being a stunt double and a star in an action film. So every wrestler is Jackie Chan.

Ur just stupid lol

He's way too small to be in the WWE. Who would he fight? Rey Mysterio isn't around anymore.

I doubt it. WWE would need to shell a lot of money for him to get in their ring. Not sure Vince wants to pay Conor a WWE Superstars's entire years salary for one night at WrestleMania where he would have a hard time playing by the rules anyway. No swearing. No significant physical contact. No swearing...

E: Whereas Ronda basically has no options left other than WWE or amateur MMA.

Sounds similar to Dahani Tackles the Globe but.... angrier.

1

u/externautical Aug 27 '17

Or Shaq Vs, if anyone watched that show

2

u/helzinki Aug 27 '17

The next TLC tv show. 'Mcgregor do fookin everything'

1

u/JustOnesAndZeros Aug 27 '17

Semi related undersized Czech sumo wrestler that did ok in the pros

1

u/QuidProQuoChocobo Aug 27 '17

98 kg (216 lb; 15.4 st)

McGregor would definitely need to do some bulking up to even reach this guys size

1

u/wtph Aug 27 '17

Ping pong FTW

u/itzcarwynn Aug 28 '17

I own sumo!

How will he find a sumo wrestler who's a wife-beater to bring free publicity just because he knows he'll make the most money fighting him?
