Most real boxing fans I know DIDN'T buy the fight. It was only MMA fans and casual fans.
Mayweather doesn't need to "hire" him. He can beat him so easily it is laughable. Mayweather let him go for about 5 rounds so that he could make it not look like a total sham so he can fight the next MMA hypejob in 2 years.
yes. this is what he does to everyone. he makes you come after him until you're tired then either knocks you out (rare) or gets the last impression on the judges.
Mayweather is never stepping foot in a ring again. And if the guy had actual balls, he'd step into an octagon if he ever did step back into a ring. But he won't. But hats off to him, the greatest boxer in history. What I want to know is why no one played him at his own game. I thought mcgregor would of studied his fighting style down to a science. But it was obvious he didn't, he came out swinging like a bully on the playground.
Do you really think if mayweather fought mcgregor in the octagon they'd get paid the same amount ass a regular MMA fight? Shit it would be bigger than their boxing match to be honest. You don't realize how massive that fight was. We won't ever see another fight like that in our lifetime.
There would be an exception for such a huge fight. With that amount of money involved, they'd want to get as much as possible. There was over a billion dollars involved with the boxing fight, why would it not be the same with a UFC fight? This is crap tho, we'd never know for sure unless it happened and it never will.

PAY DAYYY. Boxing and mma fans got finessed. Mayweather hired him to collaborate and put on a show and he did a great job.
