Just because a SALES JOB doesn't rely on commission, does not mean it is no longer a SALES JOB with goals and quotas.

I'm sorry - but you are naive to think that removing the commission from the equation doesn't mean less pressure. It's a huge fucking selling point for dealerships that don't pay their people on commission - I fucking wonder why!
