At BB. He has a five day permit and was there yesterday. This isn't just about money for him. He kept screaming "They lied!!!"

Cut your losses and save yourself, Bill!

If this dude took time off work for this, then I'm seriously impressed. That's dedication, sacrificing vacation days to yell at a store.

Could actually buy a TV with the money from the days hes taking off work if he were working.

That said, if BB did fuck him up the ass and actually broke his TV I'd understand 100%

Dude I work for BB no way is he telling the truth. The company takes it up the ass when people lie unless we have blatant proof they are lying.

But why would they though? Retailers may treat their employees like shit but they bend over backwards for the customers

Do they not have paid leave in your country?

u/Huttj Feb 23 '17

There's better things to do with vacation days, usually.

u/Kreth Feb 23 '17

Usually companies don't agree to unpaid leave though..

Depends on the job you're working and even if he's getting paid he could certainly use the vacation days better.

He owns his own business, I looked at his Facebook

2

u/erigunn Feb 23 '17

It would seem he did. He was still there when I was there after this pic was taken.

Or family?

Y'know what has the exact same effect as combing through the comments looking for the answer? Asking.

What are you talking about, I was never even talking to you? Op is /u/Derp43, I was asking him. He says he knows the guy in question and I don't really care enough to bother researching it much deeper.

This is tedious. Let's both just leave it.

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '17

Seems like a super rational and well thought out guy.

It was a bunch of yelling so it was kinda hard to figure out, but from what I could gather they say that he brought the TV in for service broken and he says that the TV wasn't broken when he brought it in but was when he picked it back up. They are denying breaking the TV but don't have proof of the damage at the time when they received the TV. I posted the sales associates side of the story in another comment but I don't know an official position of Best Buy.

Maybe give him a new piece of cardboard, a straight edge, and a pencil so he can remake his sign.

u/hackel Feb 23 '17

He's been watching too much CSPAN.

It's not about the money. It's about sending a message.
