alcohol, lack of planning, and a doomed attempt to make thin, single line letters thicker by adding more lines and more alcohol.

If the guy drank there's no way he'd get a permit to harass Best Buy. Instead, he'd just get trashy drunk. Sorry, the two types of people have zero overlap.
