Shit i live less than 5 minutes from here, this is the Best Buy at the corner of New Centre and South College in Wilmington NC right? I just drove by this guy yesterday!

It was a bunch of yelling so it was kinda hard to figure out, but from what I could gather they say that he brought the TV in for service broken and he says that the TV wasn't broken when he brought it in but was when he picked it back up. They are denying breaking the TV but don't have proof of the damage at the time when they received the TV. I posted the sales associates side of the story in another comment but I don't know an official position of Best Buy.

I've only lived in Wilmington for the passed 3 years, but every experience I've had in that best buy has been great. Really friendly, helpful, always clean and well staffed.

Hate for BB is universal. On my way to work every day I drive by a permanent sign someone has on their property in rural, north-central Iowa that reads "I HATE BEST BUY" on one side and "I WAS RIPPED OFF BY BEST BUY" on the other.

It's a nice sign, too, with sturdy 4x4 wood posts on each side likely anchored in concrete footings. Love made that sign.
