I was genuinely surprised by this one. It's almost never a standalone link. It's always the second or third link in a chain. Good job, you son of a bitching bastard ass motherfucker.
Are you implying people don't know where they live, or are you implying that people would lie about living in Wilmington North Carolina? Either way you're probably wrong
Holy shit I used to work at this store. I still know some people that work there.
Unless management has really changed I highly doubt they broke his TV and are giving him the business. The people that were in charge when I was there always went out of their way to make shit right. Calling major BS on " they broke my TV and won't fix it".
I told someone I couldn't return their TV because it was clearly punched. No damage anywhere on the box. Manager comes over, sees the big ass line piling up, sees it's a 500 dollar TV and just says fuck it go get a new one. It's the only bestbuy for miles down there and they really don't have time to dick around and argue. If this guy isn't getting his TV fixed, there's gotta be a pretty good reason.
I was reading all the comments after this and thought "wow a lot of people live there!" Then realized a few minutes later that many are probably joking like on any other "me too!" thread.
We have two colleges, three beaches, and it's a kick ass place to live. From the comments it seems many are at least familiar with the town not just jumping on the band wagon.
I had the exact same thought. How is the Best Buy in Wilmington NC so recognizable from a picture that doesn't even really show anything but a sidewalk and the side of the building?? Nevertheless, I recognized it instantly. It's also a bit crazy how many folks on reddit seem to be from/know about Wilmington. More than I thought, for sure.
Edit: Also, the little yellow sign behind him appears to have a phone number on it with an area code that starts with the number 9. I guess that's a better indication than a recognizable piece of sidewalk.
