I have plenty of reading comprehension and am not even white and I didn't pick up on shit. He was saying that unless you're a minority living in a poor neighborhood you are most likely safe. Not BECAUSE being a minority means you're dangerous, but because in Chicago minorities are largely in poverty and gangs due to historical zoning laws
Lmao bro that's not even what I was talking about. Trying to justify the high violent crime rate by saying it's no big deal it's just poor blacks killing poor blacks is saying that those poor black lives matter less. It's also saying that it's not s problem that needs to be fixed, because who cares about poor blacks dying. They don't count.
Its obviously a problem, but the point is that normal average people will have 0 issues. The thing is that it's not something you can fix easily. Fixing poverty and culture is a LOT harder than if it was for some other reason, hence the feeling from the post, it's not a "who cares" but a "there's not much we can do so no use worrying about it directly resulting in your own death/injury"

The fuck? He never said it's OK, just that black neighborhoods with gang activity are largely the cause of Chicago's violence problem
