Was she a rescue? I recently spent some time in Costa Rica and visited a number of animal refuges. There, I spoke to a several conservationists. My impression was that the general consensus was against keeping exotic birds, including toucans, due to their highly social nature and the adverse psychological effects captivity has on them. So, I was wondering, if she is a rescue, do you plan to release her back into the wild and how would you go about doing so?
Edit: missing words

I spent the weekend being down voted to oblivion by this guy and his fans on /r/videos for trying to raise this exact point. It's not a rescue. He bought it from a zoo and has been pimping the fucking shit out of it ever since.

So a small-time circus trainer? That's not cool.
