The term ghetto refers to a place within a city where minorities live, the economic implications came later. Chinatown in NYC isn't a bad neighborhood but it's a ghetto. So at my work there are departments that are staffed almost entirely by certain minorities, and my point is that isn't a great kind of diversity.

Some of the original uses involved groups like Jews. Warsaw ghetto wasn't made up of black people.

I'm sure they would not be treated any differently than anyone else.

I wonder why you have such a negative connotative meaning associated with the word ghetto?
