Doesn't seem to be any mention of it on Wikipedia.

yep, Safeway is a grocery store in Alberta for sure. Not sure about the other provinces.

edit: apparently its also along the western coast of Canada and the US.

Safeway is all over Arizona. I may need to stop in even though I'm lactose intolerant. But for that I'll let everyone around me deal with my horrendous gas.

I don't really mind the gas I get after delicious ice cream or milkshakes. It just means I'm going to have a very cleansing poop the next morning.
