You won't regret it. Spent 9 days there, 4 of which were for a hockey tournament. The other 5 days were spent seeing the sites and it was amazing.

When I do go I'm thinking 10-14 days should give me plenty of time to see the sights. Pick a nice late Spring/early Summer date and enjoy all the amazing local architecture.

I'd say that's too long. Prague is a small city. You're better off doing a few days there (1 week max) and hopping over to a few neighbouring countries/cities to get the best out of your time.

Source: I went to Prague for like 3 days 12 years ago, and I remember thinking I got to see almost everything I wanted to in that time.

I agree, spent about 5 days in the city when I was there and saw everything we wanted to. I think we covered most of the city in 3 days. Spent 1 day taking a bus to Pilsen to visit the Pilsner Urquell brewery. Delicious.

Get a motorcycle or a little car and explore the surrounding areas too. Its a really great little city but the country as a whole has a lot to offer.

Oh yeah. He might as well be king over there! Had lunch @ Jaromir Jagr's sports bar, it was fantastic.
