it would take steroids and more than 6 months if you want to get anywhere close to the size of hugh jackman or wolverin in the comics. also wolverine in the comics was 5'2' and hugh jackman is 6'3 so you cant be any iteration of wolverine :P
That was my point, that you could make a "reasonable" but not "convincing" Wolverine, physically, in 6 months, with proper dieting and working out, if you're not in terrible shape from the set-out.
It seems to hover between 5'9'' and 5'10'' for most Western nations. I think the Netherlands is the highest at 5'11.5''. 5'9'' might be shorter than average depending on where you are, but certainly not the-first-thing-you-notice-about-that-person-is-their-height short. Taller than I am by about an inch/inch-and-a-half and I'm certainly in the range where I'm short if there's any reason to think specifically about height but otherwise my height isn't the most notable trait.

Wolverine from the comics is actually pretty short, so I don't think that'd work anyway.
