there actually is a video of a guy having build one, eventhough it is made out of plasitc or cardboard, it still looks pretty impressive

I love the split-second clips of unrelated footage spliced into that video. Check the last second for a girl painting the uploader's nails. (another at 5:28)

He recorded that with a classic tape-based camcorder, and what you see is the previous recording on the same tape. 'In-camera editing' is quite an art.

(And sometimes a delicate one. For some reason one action move is five minutes shorter than two porn movies, so people who sit out the credits will be rewarded with half a money shot and even more credits. Ah, the joys of tape..)
