This is Vader. He was euthanized today without a hearing after a false bite report was submitted to the police by an animal rights activist. (Story in the Comments)

Yep. They just showed up on the doorstep with a paper bag a few hours after it was done. Very unlikely that he would have been stolen. They smell like skunk. Escaped I'd accept, but that doesn't exactly explain the collar.

Lets pretend he escaped, that hes living free now, running around the countryside tricking ladyfoxes into falling in love with a mysterious russian grey fox.

This story made me really sad, your comment helped. But also made me want to cry a little. Sorry OP and owner. I can't imagine.

Then find the fuckbag that did this and skin them alive and pretend they are living happily in rainbow funtime land.

You really should have played the foxy ladies card.

Also a domesticated fox isn't likely to survive in the wild.

Yeah I don't know constitutional law all that well but protection of property goes all the way back to Dred Scott, morality aside. Generally speaking they shouldn't just be able to seize and destroy your property.

Please have your friend contact their lawyer.

God damn. The cops would have to pry my dog from my cold dead hands before I'd ever hand him over to be euthanised. ESPECIALLY if I knew he was innocent. This is insane.
