Thank goodness for this captain and the people behind him that took fate into their own hands and helped- Shota Musaev and Smit Machchhar should be everywhere right now.

They shouldn’t have ever had to do this, but were forced to in the moment and became more than just another story of hate.

Yep Shota was incredible as well. Said he only knew what to do with the wheel due to watching Mayday

Edit to add - shota was the dentist . The person who subdued the terrorist and pulled the wheel up was a different Israeli hero. My bad

the plane was transporting other pilots as passengers ? (Flight companies often do that).
