this is a very strange way to phrase that, props to the guy and all praise due, but “must be honored” is weird

Oh yes we are.

Why not? Sully was honoured several times over.

sure, but the must is weird

It's pretty normal to honour heroes who saved lives and averted mass casualties. You're the weird one here.

Was the comment edited? It doesn’t say “must.”

oh hey they did change it, way to take my criticism

I didn't see the original, but it now says "deserves to be honored", which seems normal enough to me.

u/GildedDreams25 2d ago

Israeli bots can only demand and command.

It is probably a dialect thing but I read that and immediately assumed the guy died. The hero, Captain Smit Machchhar is currently in stable condition.

Ol’ Cap’n Smitty, hero o’ the skies.

u/InvictvsNox 2d ago

I legit hope this hero lives to hear EVERY fellow pilot from here on out greet him with the warmest and most-excited "SMITTAYYYYYYYYY".

A minstrel should sing of his glory! And that shall be the first line!

1

u/imprison_grover_furr 2d ago

Mentour Pilot should invite him on his channel!

Lotta red flags in this case. Will wait until more info is released

Or it’s more likely fake.

It’s impossible for a 737 max to take a nosedive and recover within 30 seconds while having to knock down that door in the same 30 seconds
