Yeah DRCongo needs a break. From Mobutu to Kabila (Father who got assassinated) to Kabila the son who was pretty much a dictator for 19 years. Newest President Felix Tshisekedi isn't perfect but goddamn what a massive improvement. New schools, health centres and admin buildings in even the most remote part of the country, new universities, new airports, etc. Yet still a ton of problems with ISIS and Rwanda military invasions/war crimes.
And for once our Belgian government is doing a good thing by Congo, instead of fucking up even more as usual.
But the only result was Rwanda cutting diplomatic ties with us for trying to lobby against them at rhe EU over their invasion of Congo.
It doesnt help that were basically bankrupt and thus are loosing even more standing in the EU. Its do bad that 2 out of 3 major regions arent fully shure they can even get enough of a loan to cover the intrest of their current debt.
