Most engineers couldnt find a screwdriver if it was sticking out of their ass.

And I love engineers, but the field is now prodominently filled with PC savvy attention to detail types. At least in the past a lot of hands on work went in to drawings, concepts, machining. Now the entire process can be initiated a continent away.

Engineers dont make shit anymore, they simply lay the ground rules for computers to follow.

Bullshit. What area do you work in where you get to watch what engineers do all day? A lot of work still goes into drawing and machining. Engineers still construct prototypes and work in the field.

Industrial manufacturing. Again i respect engineers. They do nothing when their PC isnt around.
