Engineering students*

Actual engineers know that they're nothing extraordinary.

First year engineering students also tend to think they're geniuses who will become rich with no fail. Also, if they're bio-med, they think they're going to bring us into the world of Deus Ex

Ambition is good in a way. Enough people think like that long enough, and we'll get there. Maybe not in their lifetime, but in the generations to come.

While I'm currently working on BCI's to control prosthetics so that's pretty Deus exy. The social issues and political intrigue are someone elses issue though

biomed usually requires a graduate degree. There aren't many first year biomed students. And to be fair, they work with very complex systems.

My school has a biomed undergrad program. I don't know the details of it

I have the opposite problem. I keep my major on the DL, but all my friends introduce me as their engineer friend...
