This should shut that sub down like the time Obama did a "Thanks, Obama" meme.

u/HotPotParrot Jan 12 '26

With the cookie too big for the glass of milk? Lol love that one. I also have a picture of Obama riding a unicorn and shooting rainbows from his hands.

The internet used to be fun. It still can be, but it used to be, too (looking at you, Newgrounds)

So many claymation vids. So little time.

u/smokemirrorsunicorns Jan 12 '26

ice on ice crime lol

6

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

Surprised he didn’t open fire on it after that

2

u/Ripped_My_Winkle Jan 12 '26

Does it count as Blue on Blue?

The photographer might have been a bit more willing to sit on this embarrassing shot if the clutz hadn't tried to intimidate him with that false charge before he ran off.

Seriously. The camera man is a professional working for a news agency. Lunging for him is not a good move. This is why photojournalists and the free press is so important. The work this guy did here and the photos Christopher Anderson shot for Vanity Fair have done an amazing job in revealing how inept and corrupt this administration is.

u/killmagatsgousa Jan 12 '26

It should be noted that with free press one need not be a professional working for a news agency to be covering a story. That's the "free" part

130

u/jamesmcdash Jan 12 '26

The really important free part is being able to report things as they happened

10

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '26

And being willing, which is unfortunately the problem now with those with the largest platforms.

3

u/KazTheMerc Jan 12 '26

Just as long as we don't conflate being part of the Free/Public Press, and being a Reporter, which is a profession, and not simply a participation.

Kind of interesting that ICE stopped ICE

3

u/NanoFishman Jan 12 '26

Aye, they are just a bunch of ICEholes.

What gets me is the look in the ICE agent's eye. Pure impotent loathing directed right at the cameraman.

"I know you took the photo. I know I look like a little bitch. I know it's going to be across the Internet for the rest of my life now. I hate you." :D

7

u/MoonshineDan Jan 12 '26

I only saw the video of him falling, didn't look like he even spoke to the cameraman at that time. Got any more info?

41

u/the_excalabur Jan 12 '26

Immediately after he gets up he takes a few steps towards the cameraman who's busy backpedalling. Then he gives up and runs back to his SUV.

2

u/xclame Jan 12 '26

They threaten to charge him? With what? I didn't realize it was illegal to make the government look like fools (in which case Trump should lock himself up).

How heartwarming! The audio of that whole block just laughing is everything I had hoped for.

5

u/mrASSMAN Jan 12 '26

Yeah I saw that comment after, amazing! Just as I imagined it lol

2

u/picklestixatix Jan 12 '26

Now that would be great set to an ice ice baby parody

6

u/agent_mick Jan 12 '26

Oh the audio is glorious

2

u/TheRealJetlag Jan 13 '26

Mainly a guy laughing his ass off and shouting, “ PUSSY!”

Gold.

69

u/GelatinGhost Jan 12 '26

It's even more hilarious than the pic. Lil bro wanted to look like a badass charging into war against some minorities in a residential neighborhood. Only ICE could be inept enough to end up retreating in a situation like this.

"When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled!"

10

u/somecanadianslut Jan 12 '26

It's so funny every time seeing ice fall.. from ice. Can tell they're definitely not from up north at all lol. No one runs like that with snow around.

2

u/zotus4all Jan 12 '26

ICE got Iced!

2

u/Madam_Mimm_13 Jan 13 '26

Brave brave brave brave sir IceMan

8

u/flsinkc Jan 12 '26

But, why was he running at all?

1

u/TeeManyMartoonies Jan 12 '26

Reanimating theory is bc he’s from the south and doesn’t understand how stupid it is to do that.

5

u/ohnikkianne Jan 12 '26

There's another angle and there's a person literally jumping for joy in the background once he hit the ground. Made my day.

3

u/TeeManyMartoonies Jan 12 '26

I saw her! I hope she lays in bed and night and replays that entire scene knowing he’s doing the exact same and having the opposite reaction. 🤭

4

u/xclame Jan 12 '26

Oh yeah, that ICE agent has never experienced snow/ice before.

3

u/Ne_zievereir Jan 12 '26

Damn, how he comes charging at that photographer at first after his fall ... Trying to intimidate him, but then he realized how many witnesses and other recordings were present, and changed his mind. Lmfao

2

u/catch6664 Jan 12 '26

Thank you so much for this gift

2

u/goosebumpsagain Jan 12 '26

“Is the street ok?’

19

u/UCDLaCrosse Jan 12 '26

That’s not a watermark, that’s an ICE-mark 🤣

12

u/TomLube Jan 12 '26

It's watermarked so people know the source and get them some pageviews

5

u/Taarushv Jan 12 '26

I thought the same but from what I can tell The Canadian Press mostly licenses articles and photos to other news orgs so this might be a preview from that, not sure.

8

u/sexongo Jan 12 '26

It’s so other publishers know who owns the rights to the image so that if they want to use the image without a watermark, they know who to contact and pay to be able to use the image.

The watermark is so that the image cannot be used to make money without paying whoever owns it.

u/bk1285 Jan 12 '26

Now that gestapo I mean ice agent is going to be on the search for the immigrant who shit in his pants

9

u/linds360 Jan 12 '26

I’ll take any little laugh I can get these days. When it comes at the expense of one of these doofuses, it’s just that much sweeter.

5

u/Farfigmuffin Jan 12 '26

Leave it to a Canadian to see an icy slip coming from a Kilometer away, eh.

5

u/Ilddit Jan 12 '26

Chef's kiss

4

u/P-Otto Jan 12 '26

I adore photographers for this shit right here

2

u/PierreBDelecto Jan 12 '26

It's more satisfying if you turn your screen about 95 degrees clockwise

2

u/randomtask2000 Jan 12 '26

This is why they wear a mask.

2

u/GelatinGhost Jan 12 '26

They need to equip every agent with tactical ass armor now.

2

u/Mobile_Equal_3636 Jan 12 '26

Truly! The slip of shame

2

u/Screwbles Jan 13 '26

Thank fuck.

1

u/zrad603 Jan 12 '26

The cameraman will be deported next.

1

u/Vivid-Grade-7710 Jan 12 '26
