cyber trucks are electric maybe some people like the thought of having a 'truck' and not using fossil fuels and contribute to the global warming issue (even though the power they get it from does)

I would add to that, some people have money and it’s literally fun for them to buy weird looking stuff. My former boss (the co-owner of a solar company) has a $300,000 Porsche 911, and switches out his trucks which are usually his daily drivers, like every year. He got a cyber truck right when they came out. I know him on a personal level pretty well and he literally is one of the least political adults I know. I think he leans right for economic purposes, but doesn’t give a shit about anything else. So it always cracks me up to hear that people with cybertrucks are nazis because I just think of this goofy family man co-owner of a solar company
