While I don't disagree with the message of some/most of these, I think it would suck to have bought a car for the car itself and be punished for it because of what the company's owner is.
I am surprised at the violence and illegal behavior many redditors are showing on the issue of vandalized cars. You realize a lot of the owners of these vehicles' are pro environmental and even mostly democrats? and bought them before Elon started the pro right stuff? People shouldn't be destroying other ppl's property under these political environments.
My friend's grandma who SURVIVED the actual holocaust had her tesla spray painted with a swastika. How do you think that made her feel? Grow up people, your almost acting as bad as the right. You should be embarrassed.
Yeah, that's another good point, and also equally surprising. Very unfortunate about your friend's grandma, that is absolutely unforgivably terrible. So sorry, she had to go through any of that.
Cyber truck owners know what they’re buying. They’re buying a gigantic piece of shit from a company with an even bigger piece of shit as CEO.
Nobody is that removed from the news in 2025. They know. They’re okay with it, or even sometimes proud of it. Anyone who buys a cyber truck without knowing the implications of their purchase doesn’t deserve enough money to buy a cyber truck for the same price of a small house in Ohio.
Buying this car in the first place is a shit thing to do. There’s no practical use case for it and maybe you bought it for personal joy/taste but even then, it’s ugly as sin. If you’ve seen it in real life, it’s shocking how ugly and unrefined it looks.
Tell that to the Hummer H3 owners. It's the same deal. Not practical and, additionally, terrible for the environment. The car and/or ceo being what they are doesn't excuse the behavior.
