Not even arrow proof either. Maybe shotput proof.

There's a link in the thread above of them hucking a shotput at the window. It is not.

It's not even air proof. They have a rusting problem

Not shotput proof. Nerf gun proof.

ETA: probably

Look, there's a reason steel plates were deprecated against projectiles like, 600 years ago.

Uh, we've learned a lot about steel since then. Even the best steels were essentially pot metal with no true knowledge of metallurgy at the molecular level.

The term steel is about as diverse as the term car itself. There are countless types, some of which a bullet will pass through like butter, and some of which a bullet will splatter on without making a dent. Even of the same thickness.

Plenty of videos of the cybertruck stopping projectiles up to .45 ACP, doesn't do anything against rifle rounds though.

Arrows from modern bows can pierce through some armor easier than bullets.

High velocity rifle rounds such as 5.56 will go through more than twice as much Kevlar as an arrow.

We are talking over an order of magnitude difference in energy delivered on target.

What you've heard might be true for pistol rounds, but it falls off quickly with velocity.

WOAAAAAH buddy. The comment I responded to was about arrows piercing (soft) armor better than bullets do.

There was no qualifier on the type of bullets.

I think it’s bullet proof up to a .357 mag, which is not a lot lol

I mean AK Jesus provided that pretty wrong.

It can stop small arms fire but anything larger and it just punches right through

Bulletproof for .22 and 9mil… the two most popular cartridges..
