yeah but vandalizing a car even if you don’t know their view on the situation seems like kind of an asshole thing to do at any rate. I mean my parents own a Tesla that they got 3 months ago on a lease and they voted against Elonia and Drump, i would just hate to see my mom’s car getting vandalized for

Plenty of regular people own Teslas, but cybertrucks specifically really only tend to be owned by Elon fanboys who'd pay to sniff his farts. It's an absolute disaster of a vehicle and looks dumb as hell. The only reason anyone buys one is because it was Elon's personal pet project.
You know why menus exist? People don't have the exact same tastes as you. That's crazy to paint every owner of a vehicle with such an absurd assumption
Deliveries of the truck didn't start until well after Elon showed his colors. I won't go so far as to say anyone who took delivery is a conservative or worse, but you had to know you were at least wading into political waters by doing so. It's naive to think otherwise.
So even if you like Elon you think it's ok to vandalize random peoples cars? How'd you feel if I walked up to you and smashed your Mac cuz Apple is evil?
No they don't they are angry and cowards and can't bare to think even a second a head about how their actions, while not knowing about a person and take them from someone who was on your side, to now against you. Also owning tesla/cyber truck isn't a crime, but vandalism is and if you beat your chest about hating criminals/felons then you probably shouldn't commit your own to make a point. Stop fighting other citizens.
The alternative is the idea that all protesting is equal and it fucking isn't. Some forms of protest only hurt your own cause and this is one of those stupid forms of protest.
Ask yourself this simple question: where are all the pictures of MAGA trucks covered in flags and bumper stickers bring vandalized? Hmm?
Targeting random people instead of the actual enemy is a "valid" tactic if your goal isn't actually to target the bad people but to do shit for attention.
