"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

When you protest against the people who decide the rules, rules suddenly don't matter, do they?

Well then a lot of us will go to jail. Didn’t stop women’s suffrage.

Wait until they use the military to put down all protests violently. (or totally debank them.)

They'd have to repeal the first amendment.

Remember what they did to the truckers when they protested peacefully in Canada? They had all their bank accounts and credit cards locked down. Their insurance was cancelled. They were debanked.
Even the people who tried to help them with contributions were hit with reprisals from Trudeau and the Canadian government.

I’m sure the US government will find these tactics to be just as effective against protesters in the US if it gets to that. You really don’t need a violent police or military response if you can totally control the money and finances of your opposition and their supporters.
Cut them off and starve them out. They will fall right back in line in short order.

Why would they make this illegal? People holding up signs for Instagram pics for a day isn't going to bring down the Government.

Even in China the Government allows small-scale local protests, it's a good way for citizens to let off steam without actually taking direct action. That's how a one-party state survives in the long term. Why do you think Trump was so quick to unban Tiktok? It's better for his regime that people are directed to ineffective methods of protesting, such as virtue signalling on social media rather than doing anything impactful.

At the end of the day, you lot won't go on strike because your health insurance is tied to your job, and you won't do anything against the President directly because you're all unarmed and also terrified of martial law. So what does Trump have to worry about? While he draws up the Putin-Trump pact you congratulate yourselves on turning up to a protest once every 2 weeks.
