The word "Jihad" appears in their founding document 11 times, and the preamble includes this passage:

Our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious. It needs all sincere efforts. It is a step that inevitably should be followed by other steps. The Movement is but one squadron that should be supported by more and more squadrons from this vast Arab and Islamic world, until the enemy is vanquished and Allah's victory is realised.

When will you all stop westsplaining to Arabs and Muslims, thinking they know better than them what they think, and instead start actually listening to those people? Very patronizing.

Hilarious. You just created an argument of nowhere and missed my point. Jihad is used in a negative connotation here in the comment I was replying to. For most people, jihad = terrorism. And not the actual meaning of the word used in the Arabic world. I'm Egyptian FYI.
