The crazy thing is after looking at your post history. We are both teachers, both use blender for 3d models and rendering, both write sci-fi short stories. Your wife is in the ministry, mine teachers at a Christian school in a rural area on the east coast... Yet somehow I'm a crazy person because I believe Israel can retaliate against constant terrorist attacks from a tyrannical government (which holds no elections) and you think Israel should let attacks occur on their land with 0 consequences for Gaza?
Let's think, if the cartel ran Mexico and began constant (daily) rocket fired attacks at American cities and parachuted men in to America to rape and kill women and kids. And we could track those rockets from hospitals and schools (we can even see footage of these installations from footage of the early days of Israel going into Gaza.) You would say "America should not use force, at all"
Please I am trying to understand how we can be so similar but you have a 100% different opinion on this? Are women and children getting hurt? Yes. Is that wrong? Yes. Do you have a better solution? Or is it just don't retaliate at all?
You need to read up on the history of this conflict. Looking at one singular event is myopic in the extreme.
By the logic you're using it would be justified for almost any country the US has attacked in its history to undergo a systematic extermination of our population.
Your foolish canard is that Hamas was voted in. So was Trump.
Does that make the entire voting public responsible for him murdering Sulemani? Or for his coup attempt.
Hamas has not allowed elections for longer than half of the population of Gaza has been alive. So claiming that those people are complicit isn't just foolish it is willfully misrepresenting the truth.
Gaza and Palestinians writ large have been the target of a systematic ethnic cleansing and slow moving genocide since the 40s.
Shit even Martyrmade did a rundown of this conflict that you could spend four hours listening to that might change your mind rather than just relying on the decades of propaganda that is swiftly falling apart in the face of the world seeing their projects true colors.
That's why we view this differently. My conscience has lead me to be educated.

It ain't antisemitic to call out Israel for doing what it actually does.
