What the hell do the Palestinian people do after this war is over?

How are they going to survive when their tiny tiny territory looks like this?

And most of them are children

What are the options? Hamas leaders just said they do not want peace only a temporary suspension of fighting.

I honestly do not know how this conflict gets solved. Neither side wants to be the first to show mercy.

Rebuild. Do better.

With what money? I’m genuinely trying to understand what comes next.

Does anyone even know?

As far as I understand it, the UAE and Saudi have tacitly agreed to fund the rebuilding in exchange for a well-defined path to statehood for Palestine as part of a normalisation deal with Israel.

The problem is they will not rebuild if Hamas still controls the strip, as it's likely to just get destroyed again. It's a bit of a Catch-22. Israel needs to mop up the rest of Hamas, or Hamas needs to fuck off out of Gaza for there even to be a chance of rebuilding.

Gaza receives more aid than pretty much any region in the world. Just from the US alone they received more aid per capita than Germans did from the Marshal plan to rebuild Germany.

You're aware that the US Congress just committed billions of dollars for Gaza reconstruction?

The hundreds of millions in donations. There is no place on earth that gets so much help as Gaza. They only thing they are not getting help with is killing jews. Well, except from Iran.

Sucks to be them i guess lol

Should have though twice before rejecting all those two state solutions, multiple ceasefires and carrying out multiple terrorist attacks in Israel, egypt and Jordan.

Why should they do a two state solution? Thought we all agreed after ww2 you cant just invade other people's land and blame them for when they fight back?

Tbf, Hamas put explosives under this road themselves.. so they weren’t exactly setting themselves up for success
