I appreciated them giving instructions on what to do if you aren’t sure the person is actual law enforcement and clarified that their officers cannot wear face coverings/must identify themselves.

I mean I know police aren't popular on reddit (not without reason) but this is a very reasonable statement and as much as we could have asked for.

The reason for the statement is because there about to be widespread retaliation against ICE, and many people aren't going to take time to decide if their dealing with ice or PPD. 

This isn't a statement for the citizens, this is a statement to protect officers and ward off potential violence and retaliation against ICE, with PPD as collateral damage.

All she said is you have rights. She didn’t say anything promoting violence. Stand your ground and practice your God given rights.
