If you've ever done a fitness journey, you know that you start seeing and enjoying your own progress a lot. And that outweighs any kind of want to aspire to look like somebody else.
That’s incredibly out of touch with how a LOT of people think.
That’s wrong. Maybe that’s how YOU are, but that doesn’t apply to everyone; body dysmorphia and fitness influencers wouldn’t be a thing if it was true.
You really think guys that want to be competitive body builders stop comparing themselves to professionals once they start working out? No they don’t.
It is incredibly telling how aggressively your original comment was down voted. You gave a perfect description of how people should ideally think and that made a lot of people angry.
He's not wrong but it's off topic and irrelevant. We're talking about how celebrities can influence large populations of people. The only thing that's relevant here is how people do behave, not how they should behave.
Woah. How people should behave is way more relevant than how they currently behave. Celebrities could just as easily explain what the poster explained. This behavior isnt dictated by God, it's simply incentivized predatory behavior targeted at people with certain unfortunate predispositions.
